The number of no-name options for blue light blocking reading glasses on Amazon is huge. I've tried a bunch of these at this point, and they're all decent enough for the intended purpose (reading), and mostly differ in terms of construction/aesthetics, plus whether they include cases.These are pretty par for the course. They're fine for reading. They aren't the lightest frames I've tested, but they're fine for moderate-term wear. They're made in China, like nearly all of these glasses. They have swing hinges, so the wings can bend outward to accomodate wide heads.In terms of blue light blocking, these offer that. Whether it's useful/important is up to you. I don't find it does that much for me, but again, because they're only partial blue light blockers, things that are blue still look blue--so even if you don't care about that functionality, these will work fine.Blue light blocking advocates assert this is important for stuff like:* Reduction of headaches* Reduced eyestrain* Better sleep through the increased natural production of melatoninSome studies suggest a correlation between blue light-blocking glasses and some/all of the above. There are, however, many studies that have failed to find a significant correlation. I'd say the jury is out. The one thing everyone probably agrees upon is that even if they don't help, they can't hurt.
